Wellness Wellness area and treatments

  • Can external guests also use the pool and sauna area?

No, the pool and sauna area is reserved exclusively for our hotel guests.

  • What are the opening hours of the pool area?

  • What is the temperature of the pool water?

The water temperature in our pool is 28 °C.

  • Are there any swimwear requirements guests should be aware of?

For safety reasons, we kindly ask you to wear swim shoes in the pool area to prevent slipping.

  • What is the minimum age for children to use the pool area?

We are delighted to welcome you and your children. However, please note that the pool area is intended as a place of relaxation. For safety reasons, children under the age of 12 may only enter the wellness area when accompanied by a parent.

  • Is there a fitness area at the Arkona Strandhotel?

Yes, our spacious wellness and fitness area is located on the lower ground floor and is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. You are also welcome to take part in a variety of complimentary daily classes, such as aqua fit, meditation, and many other activities.

  • Is the sauna a textile-free area?

For various reasons, our saunas must be used without swimwear. Hygiene plays a key role, as synthetic swimwear can release harmful substances when exposed to the high heat of the sauna. In addition, sweat released while wearing swimwear tends to remain trapped, which is unhygienic and unpleasant – especially when using both the sauna and the pool area. Moreover, sweating without clothing is healthier, as fabric prevents sweat from evaporating properly from the skin.
