Stefanie Drese informed herself about the reconciliation of family and work in the hotel and catering industry.
Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Social Minister Stefanie Drese has visited the Private Palace Hotels in Binz and has been informed about the reconciliation of family and work in the hotel and catering industry.
“It’s nice to see that the Private Palace Hotels have recognized the importance of the theme,” said Stefanie Drese. “When employers develop concepts that enable employees to reconcile family and work, this is the best prerequisite for a successful future for the company.”
General Director Birte Löhr was very pleased about Stefanie Dreses visit. “Such an exchange of ideas with the Social Minister gives us new impetus and suggestions – on the other hand, Mrs Drese sees the challenges we have to overcome.”
Private Palace Hotels in Binz include the Rugard and Arkona Strandhotel, the Arkona Strandresidenzen, and the Grand Hotel Binz. The fifth hotel of the group is the “Bel Air” in Glowe. Up to 400 employees are employed by the private and family business.
Lastly, the hotel group succeeded in mastering the leap in the decisive round for the “great price of the middle class” with the Rugard Strandhotel. This 4.5-star hotel is one of the best medium-sized companies in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Only 22 companies from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern were honored.
