Take the motorway A24 and A 19 to Rostock, at the junction Kreuz Rostock change onto the A20/A 11 to Stettin, at the junction Dreieck Uckermark change onto the A 20 to Stralsund...
Arriving from Berlin:
1. Possibility:
Take the motorway A 24 and A19 to Rostock, change at the Kreuz Rostock onto the A 20 to Stralsund until the exit Stralsund. Then follow the B 96 to the Insel Rügen.
2. Possibility:
Take the motorway A 11 to Stettin till the Dreieck Uckermark and change there onto the A 20 to Neubrandenburg / Stralsund and follow it till the exit Neubrandenburg-Nord. Then follow the B 96 to Stralsund and then follow the signs to the Insel Rügen.
Arriving from Hamburg / Lübeck:
Take the motorway A 20 to Rostock till the exit Stralsund. Then follow the B 96 to Stralsund and follow the signs to the Insel Rügen.
The way from Stralsund to Baltic Sea resort Binz:
In Stralsund the B 96 leads you to the new Rügen Bridge directly on the island. Follow the B 96 to Bergen and after appr. 20 km just before Bergen turn right on the B 196 to Sellin / Göhren. After another 5 km you reach the junction to Karow. Here you shouldn’t follow the signs on the left to Binz. Instead drive straight on to Ostseebad Göhren. In the village Serams you turn left to Binz- Follow the alley, passing the hunting castle Jagdschloss Granitz on the right. After crossing the railway you watch out for the blue hotel route.
